Seth Thomas Clock Co., Plymouth, Conn., tall clock, 30 hours, time, calendar and bell strike wooden works movement in a vinegar grain painted pine case simulating bird's eye and tiger maple with painted wooden dial, c1825
CONDITION:
the old case retains a great original vinegar grain painted surface with some wear and flaking to the right side and hood door. The movement is in good condition but needs service and may not be original to the case. The dial has been nicely repainted and the pewter hands are replaced. The pendulum rod and bob are replacements. The tin can weights are original. Ht 89"
